MPI 5-6.5V Miracle Switch MKIIRecommended for Rx's, as well as DA & BME ignitionsThis is a new product for 2008. It is the replacement for the original MPI Miracle Switch. This offers an adjustable regulator with two power leads in and two power leads out. It also offers a miracle switch which connects to the regulator via a yellow JR type connector. If the switch or the connector to the switch fails, the switch fails in the on position to keep power flowing to the Rx. The advantages of this system over the original MPI Miracle switch is that it is not only adjustable so that you can get just the right voltage to your servos, but it costs less because you only need one, not two of them to give you the redundancy of two batteries! |

Overview
If using this on a 150cc plane, we suggest that you use 2 of them for more redundancy. Just use only one of the inputs and outputs and use one battery per switch, though if you have four lower capacity batteries, you can use all 4 using the separate inputs of the two Miracle Switch MKII. There are many options.
CAUTION: The Regulator with Failsafe Switch presents a slight load to your battery even when off. This load is 0.25mAH which will drain a fully charged 2600 mah pack in about a year. You should disconnect the battery if the plane will not be used for awhile, or charge the battery every couple of months of non-use.
