MPI 4.9 - 6.7V adjustable voltage regulator

With heat sink (does not include switch like MPI miracle switch). It does weigh more due to the heat sink though the heat sink assures a long life. The heat sink is especially necessary when performing hard 3D maneuvers in a 40%+ sized plane with lots of digital high torque servos. Use with heavy duty switch.

To adjust the voltage, connect the battery to the input and a voltmeter to the output. Watching the meter, turn the adjusting screw until the desired voltage is achieved

MKIII 5.4v or 6V

Inline voltage regulator. For receivers or ignitions. If your servos or ignition requires 4.8v, use the 5.4v regulator. 4.8v battery packs are at 5.4v when fully charged and this gives a large margin of safety and a little more power (at less cost) than the 4.8v reg. The 6v regulator offers more power to the servos for higher speeds and more torque. Use 6v for DA and C&H ignitions.
It can take 5 amps continuous and 10 amps max.

For 100cc and smaller planes.

The new ones have two connectors on the input and output side.  It was designed to share the load since these RC connectors are good for 5A continuous.  If customer wants to plug two battery packs to the input side, it is OK.  But, the two packs has to be identical packs - same brand, capacity, and voltage, and in same charging status.  There is NO isolation between the two packs so both packs will be drawn simultaneously.  This is NOT a battery back up.

Smart-Fly Ignition Regulator (5.2v) with JR connectors

The Ignition Regulator is designed for use with lithium batteries and electronic ignitions.

 The Ignition Regulator has a fixed 5.2V output and has a current capability of 3A continuous. The regulator has a large output capacitor to handle the peak currents required by an electronic ignition. The regulator has universal connectors with 22-gauge wire. Some engines come with non-standard connectors. Just cut those connectors off of the ignition, and solder on a JR type plug.
