ZDZ Tachometer

This tach can be used with any 3-wire switch. For instance the ZDZ failsafe switch or JR switch will work. If you are using a regulator, it must also have 3 wires.

One really nice function is that the ignition retains the highest rpm in flight. Once you land you can plug into the ignition and see the highest rpm achieved in flight. Very neat!

I am using the switch. It is excellent. The pin won't fall out, and if it does the power is on. It hooks up to the ZDZ rpm meter and will read the highest rpm achieved in the last flight. (Really Kool!!) You can read instantaneous rpm through it as well. There are leds on the side to show its status.
