If you receive a component which is not working properly and want to exchange it for a new one, please read this. ALL products sold by TBM are warranted through the manufacturer, not through TBM. The preferred method of exchange is for you to contact the manufacturer to be sure that you have set up the product properly and that it is really defective. If the manufacturer decides that the product is defective, usually the manufacturer will pay for the shipping of the defective product back to them and they will pay for the shipping of a replacement product to you. If you decide to ship the product to TBM instead, we can be the intermediary, though you must pay for shipping to TBM, and pay for shipping from TBM to the manufacturer. This will also take much more time to be resolved. You will receive the product replaced or repaired from the manufacturer. If you need the part replaced right away, you must contact the manufacturer and work something out with them. TBM can sell you a new part and ship it right away, but we must charge you for the part and shipping, and we cannot give a refund on the returned part. TBM does not offer refunds on malfunctioning parts.
We will accept merchandise for return that was purchased from TBM within 30 days of receipt. There is no restocking fee for qualified returns. The merchandise must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging. Mounting a model engine, installing radio parts, or discarding the packing material are some examples of what constitutes used merchandise. We do not accept returns via COD or billed to TBM in any way. The customer is responsible for returning the merchandise. TBM will only pay for return freight if it is determined that the item shipped is not what the customer ordered. Our policy for shipping costs is: we absorb the cost of the box, the packaging material and the time to package the item, and to complete the shipping paperwork. We also ensure that the package is properly packaged so that if the item is damaged, we take on the responsibility to file a claim and obtain a refund. If a customer receives an item which they decide they want to return, we will take the product back without a restocking fee if the product is in new and unused condition and is returned within 30 days. The customer should ship the product back at the customer’s cost. The customer has the responsibility to pack the box correctly and file any claim if the package is lost or damaged in transit. Returned items will obtain a store credit unless the customer requests a refund. Refunds will be given to the original credit card used to pay the item being returned, or we will mail you a check if you paid by check or money order. Paypal refunds will be given for paypal payments. We will refund the exact amount we owe you. We will not pay any paypal fees you might need to pay to withdraw or accept the money in your paypal account. |
